I have been collecting these for a couple of years now and I managed to score a relatively mint Technos Sky Diver 500 M. In the process I've written a blog post that can be found here:

You need to drill additional set of holes to the clasp. A competent watchmaker will be able to do it.
I have only had the Omega version, which has been real good. I had a Sinn butterfly and it never worked fo me as it dug into my wrist.
COuld someone post a review, especially against omega version?
I have no idea, but please let me know as I just bought this for this purpose:

I have the same watch a few times over.
For me it is not the size. I'm completely unable to connect with the polished lugs case. The old datejust already has a good case size.
It was pretty obvious when they surfaced. I hope they go after the watches as well. The information is right there. Government property and all that.

Vintage speedmaster ownership seems like a major PITA since you need to be prepared for an unsolicited piece-by-piece deconstruction and valuation of your watch and its parts by random people every...
2504.52 seems to be popular around here

I have been tracking Mark XII and Mark XV quite a bit.
It seems to me that the examples with tritium on the dial seem to be prone to flakiness of the tritium especially on the hands. I was...
I thought Sinn had a standard policy to increase prices every september?
I'm guilty of this. I sometimes buy a watch and then a bit later sell it. Life is too short to spend with something you are not 100% happy with.
The main reason is online shopping for me. I don't...
I had the bracelet balanced today and it wears now perfectly. The watchmaker took a look at it with a loupe and was of the opinion that what I described as polished surfaces is just 12 years of wear....
Boom. Here we are. Omega Aqua Terra Railmaster Chronometer in 36mm size.

It took nearly 18 months to track down a watch I was happy to buy. In the process I...
It looks like this dial may not be popular in the UK.
If you have chrono24 account and add these on notepad, you will quickly see that these go for slightly less than 8k in euros. Over 8,5k and they take a long time to sell and less than 8k they go...
I'm also conflicted about the buckles. Best way to get a genuine period correct buckle is to buy one with a watch. Hoarders probably have buckets of genuine buckles all sorted out. Only case where...
Weekend with the Prolerouter.

Hopefully the hot period is over for now. If this heatwave is prolonged, Erwin Rommel will soon show up and ask directions to...
Omega vintage buckles are hard. What width are you looking for? Most are 14mm, there are 16mm and 18mm, but they are sought after.
This is a good starting point:...
Just picked up my Pryngeps Prolerouter earlier today and I've been wearing it with incorrect date since, because ETA 2472 has only semi quickset date:

Now that I have mine, I have started thinking about the possibility of alternate bezel.
Has anyone ordered alternate tegimented steel bezel and what was the cost? I'd like to get rubber strap and...
I have reduced my Sinn quite a bit.
Flipped yesterday my 156 for this:
