I'm ashamed to say that I was drink driving yesterday afternoon...
3 of us went to Hackney's Four Quarters for a few beers and some nostalgic game playing. That's probably my all time favourite...

No doubt about it being banana forward so there's sweetness there alright though I'd say it's relatively soft rather than sugary, if that makes sense? It could maybe do with a touch more (dark)...

My choice for tonight is this humdinger. No work for...
S Works on here has a particular interest in Verdant, I think he may even have a small investment in the business. Don't think he has posted in a while though I haven't been too active on this thread...
Easily one of the best NEIPAs I've tried, it really is a belter. I can't think of any others off the top of my head without going through my beer 'photo album, may come back to this later.
Just finished drinking this.

My favourite drinking establishment has that on tap, it's a top drop and no mistake though more of a warmer weather ale for me.
Stouts, on the other hand, are where it's at with the colder...
An Amundsen Imperial tonight.
This stuff is dark enough to stain the glass!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211111/730ecec9182a8d937c122e28bb5ac301.jpg

It's actually Ninkasi, Oatis is the name of the brew
I'm not particularly experienced with oatmeal stouts so can't compare like with like though I'd certainly drink this one again.

This one has been at the back of the fridge for a few weeks waiting for the right time to be consumed, after a very productive day of DIY this gem is well deserved.
Easily one of the best IPAs...
A few more from yesterday, including 2 more pages of the 3 page can/bottle list....

Based upon the first few mouthfuls I'm not so sure about this one. There's definitely a licorice thing going on, not that it's listed on the can, and I love the stuff however this blend of flavours...
