Less is more....it’s true. Wear one good mechanical watch, Use it to the full.
Sell the rest. That way lays contentment. ‘Stuff’ just slowly clogs your life.

I’ve been aware for some months that my time on TZ was coming to a natural end. So ‘i’l say my goodbyes. It’s been enjoyable, but I’m off and won’t be back. That’s a promise.

Rolex is a hard-nosed business; it will make tough commercial decisions. Same, on a smaller scale, with Rolex ADs. Some will disappear, other stores may open. It makes little difference to the likes...

To me, the Presidential bracelet is the reason for buying a DayDate; without it, the watch becomes greatly diminished.
As people have observed, if you want a DayDate, prepare to spend a good...

But you don’t like DayDates.......what’s happened?

Incidentally,I think it’s worth spending decent money to get a good DayDate. A knackered bracelet can be expensive....Rolex won’t sort it....and...

The Presidential bracelet is a key part of the design: leather diminishes it, because the bracelet is lovely. A two-tone DJ just doesn’t work for me, reminds me of old guys in shapeless cardigans....

I still feel that if you can’t wear a watch for fear of crime, no point in having it. These watches are just luxury toys.....life wouldn’t be significantly changed if you didn’t have them.
