I would recommend the Omega Seamaster Professional Chronograph.
Used examples are approx. 1000-1200 GBP.
Brilliant watch!

Over more than 10 yrs I did not manage to destroy mine - but the LCD display is not what is used to be - no seconds!
I've done that - several times
Good choice!
I have the orange Planet Ocean AND the Speedmaster, if I was allowed to keep only one watch I would also go with the SMP Chrono, had a titanium version and it was really all in one!

Favourite Beater - I just realised:

Thanks for the explanation, I will try if it works on my Danish account!
I have noticed that quite a few are asking for PP payment as a gift only.
Could almighty the forum please enlighten me. What to do and the effect of the "gift" transfer.
I have tried the PP...
I'm not an expert, but I trust my watchmaker to be.
He told me the following:
Two things ruins watches: Water(moisture) and dust.
Based on this I wouldn't fix it if not broken, and running...
The Ladies Omega Bond wins hands down in my book - but I might be biased as I bought my wife one;-)

Or the Aqua Terra version....
Actually these two got commented when I had them.
The Seiko had comment from a very beautiful girl in a jewel store - when I was there with my wife. She said: " what a beautiful watch". I think...
Hi Bubi,
Good to see you put it to proper use!

I actually like watches with some general wear.
No scratched crystals, but a few dinks and lines doesn't bother me. In fact it makes me wear the watch with no fear of getting that first scratch or...

Those Omega rubber straps are just so comfortable!
Looks better in real life.
But everyman has his taste. But if you are looking for sporty look it's this or the Nato I think:
Alternatively the white stitched rubber and deployant, but thats...
I wear my SMP GMT on a black NATO or the original rubber, which are both very good combinations.
I've just fitted the PO 42 mm with the black non deployant rubber, and its the best I've ever tried.
Very thick and comfy, fits perfectly and makes it feel just right on the arm.
I've just seen...
This one today. Might change it to a rubber strap that I'll collect after work at the PO.

Might get back to you when I see the bracelet on the watch!
