I also hate tucking in the extra bit of strap. Iíve mentioned them in a similar thread but I do like adjustable single pass NATOs. Worth a look at if you want something shorter.

If you check sold prices on eBay, a 3-yr old example in good / excellent condition sold recently for £1600.

Take from that what you will.

Agreed. Lovely strap but I canít stand the smell. I had to move mine on as I could smell it constantly as I went about my day. It was as if someone had rubbed vanilla extract on my top lip.

I agree regarding Vertex, I wasnít a huge fan of the design and even less the marketing but at least they were doing something new with a classic design, rather than an unimaginative re-release...

Iím keeping an eye on the supposed womenís range(!). Theyíre a bit smaller but the use of shiny diamantť type markers puts me off. Fingers crossed for a more restrained model.

    Interesting points, thank you.

I must say, Iím less fussed about where products come from so long as the quality control is in place. I accept that if the watch isnít assembled in Asia, many of...

Bringing this thread up from the depths to highlight the new green variant. I think itís a bit of a looker... Iíll even overlook the cream lume!

    Vintage brand relaunches

Iíve noticed that in recent years there have been a lot of vintage brand relaunches (Aqua star, Vertex, Fears, O&W, Yema, Nivada Grenchen etc etc).

While itís great to see some fantastic watches...

I like innovation like this and always applaud new ideas but Iím very conservative in what I buy. Glad it exists but not for me; well done all the same, enjoy it!

So itís a 1521 with cream lume and an HEV?

    Mixed feelings..

Not sure why they needed to add the HEV, if it never had one before, though I guess I prefer it to the Squale text down the side,...

I was about to jump in saying I thought Iíd pick up a club campus 38 a few years ago and felt they were surprisingly large on wrist. Ended up buying a funnel 36 and I love it.

Lovely watch. Iíve often considered picking up a squale.

They seem to be fairly polarising watches with equal number of fans and detractors. Also, when Iíve looked at used examples, the bezel...
