Makes my blood boil! The amount of stuff you read about ride sharing app drivers getting up to... They are tracked but I guess linking them to crimes like this is not easy.

With him asking for you to effectively buy it back I wouldn't be surprised if he was then trying to give/sell you another watch, perhaps stolen or fake. So many scammers out here nowadays...
I have a 26331 and despite light wear it has some marks on it. If you are going to worry about wearing it you have done the right thing IMO.
