We need to think "outside the box". Like morse code, mechanical watches and vaccines, the concept of time as a constant is truly an anachronism that belongs in the history books. How about if time wasn't a constant but a variable that matched the seasons? Every day, the sun would rise at 0630 and set again at 1830 - the technology is already there for modern timekeeping devices to adjust themselves to the daily progress of this fourth dimension.
