Hello,
This might be a bit of a weird question, not sure if anyone has experience with any of the CCTV systems from ALi Express, but as they are on offer at the moment I thought I'd ask.
I want a cheap and simple system for my house/Car. I would like a hard drive to record footage and if possible I would like to be notified on my phone if there is any motion.
There are so many choices I'm completely lost, so has anyone got any experience of these cheap CCTV systems? Any recommendations?
I went Hikvision as my work use this on campus.

Hikvision here x 3 cameras, also have x3 Ring cameras that i think are far better quality.
I upgraded to Hikvision “power over coax”, so I kept all the old cables.
My old system was about 7or 8 years old and the quality of the new cameras, especially at night is amazing compared to the wild ones.
I’ve read that cctv cameras on Aliexpress, most will be local Chinese domestic market cams which have been hacked and flashed with an English firmware so recovery or updates then becomes an issue.
There are a few sellers who sell international models, will be higher priced but then you can’t tell these from the hacked versions as some sellers sell the hacked versions at the higher price.

There are a few threads on here about CCTV so might be worth a search. I'd look for you but my search fu is useless on the forum!
