Any ideas where I might get one?
looking for a plain black or maybe with contrast stitching.
I've put a 22mm Jumbo on my Zenith for now but looking for something like the original strap which tapers down more..
It is nice quality and I like the design but I dont get on with rubberised backings.
Martu, Pav etc. They'll make anything you ask for, and the quality will be top notch.
The Vintage Winchester strap from Watchgecko tapers from 22 to 18. Here’s a picture on a Seiko turtle.

Steveo straps will make it to your specification. Have one of his on now and anoher on order. Good quality at a good price.
