My 3 Favourite Dive watches regardless of cost.

I love these 3 and they so different looks size and price.
To be honest the price or rarity or make has no standing on my decision.

Rotary Aquaplunge because it's so easy to wear and never gets in the way.
The dial is perfect and it's only 36mm.

Rolex 5513 I just feel like Steve McQueen well apart from the beer gut and lack of sex appeal.
it is my iconic watch but I get worried wearing it especially on Holiday.
ohhh it looks mint on a nato!

My newest the baby tuna, poor mans Tuna, tuna splat etc.
It's the tuna that fits me perfectly, it's fun, its quality especially after fitting a yobokies shroud the plastic one cheapends it.
This is now my official holiday watch.

however, I couldn't help but feel a domed crystal would improve it... so I had mine modded ...

The domed crystal makes it feel more like a "real" Tuna.
It's the watch Seiko should have made (IMHO).

Makes an ideal beater - grab & go quartz convenience ...
- & solar powered too - so fewer battery/capacitor changes (hopefully).
...my go to holiday watch too.

Three excellent watches. The Rotary holds it’s own against the Rolex.
Like the Tina too. Agree that the domed crystal adds that little bit extra.

I’ve just purchased a dark blue isofrane strap too, I can’t wait to get it all ready for my Jollies.

I took my 5513 away last year I was terrified wearing it.
it’s survived 38 year with original Lume and ghost bezel I think I’m pushing it too far...

The Tuna solar is going to be my tough fun jollies watch..

Very easy to install, just remove the 3 screws, slide off the old shroud, slide on the new one then re-insert the screws (think it's a 1.5mm hex key).

It’s a 35 year old NATO strap that I got on a 1983 CWC diver watch stupidly I sold the watch!

It’s my favourite NATO sadly I can’t find another I’ve got a couple of 1990’s 18mm NATO made by Phoenix that are far nicer than the modern release ones.

That Rotary is superb, Railmaster style arabic dial, date, big arrow hand AND 36mm.

Got this last night,never heard the name before........"Super Barrett".I think it will suit a tropic strap tbh.

Ranging from £20 to eye watering it doesn’t matter what the cost is? If you love it post it there’s quite a few cheap watches keeping my 5513 off my wrist.

I’ve yet to decide the best strap / bracelet for mine. I like TF blue nato - but for hols I may revert to rubber.

The isofrane looks super cool but I have to admit the original Seiko it came on is far more comfortable.
