Clearing the house I came across a box I happened upon a few years ago
Had a couple of reels of 2 x 1.5 flex (I presume for speakers) and 2 of each of these (new)
Any good and are they worth anything?

Nothing particularly interesting, the CES are fairly bog standard sound reinforcement/pa speakers, not sure on value but not much, the bottom ones are worth 15 quid each tops.
These are commercial use out of a bar/shop/club etc.. more specific to retail property than residential. Not saying you can’t use them at home but need specific kit to make them work
Cheap commercial speakers. Like you'd get in a shop.
Worth a tenner each second hand.

They are high-impedance speakers,
Driven by usually a 100v amplifier, the speakers have an internal transformer that can be selectively tapped at 100/70v, used in commercial buildings where long runs of cable are required to distribute sound over large areas, such as supermarkets, hospitals, shopping centres etc.
The quality, frequency response and output is not comparable to a localised low impedance system.
Low impedance systems conversely do not work over long cable runs well, suffering LF and HF roll-off as well as lower levels again over distance.

As pointed out above they are 70/100V line loudspeakers for a commercial install, a domestic amp won't be able to drive them.
Of limited interest therefore & not that expensive in the 1st place.
Freecycle is a good option, shame to send them to landfill.
