Water, onion, flour, meal etc anything but meat. Sausages can also be made from MRM (mechanically recovered) or slurry and could be from ears, eyeballs, tongues, teeth, arseholes in fact anything that you'd hesitate to feed your dog :pig::la:
I went right off sausages for years after seeing a program about it.
