As a dog lover, in fact as a decent human being, that makes my blood boil. The poor dog looks bereft of all hope, I hope it makes a full recovery and finds some deserving owners.

I don't feel this is an overreaction - I own two rescue dogs, and my social media feeds are full of several cases like this every day. And that's just dogs...

I can't express how I feel about this on a public forum. What man can do to animals makes me despair, and believe me I'm no tree hugger.

The perpetrator should be given the same treatment - tied to a boulder and thrown in the same river for at least half a minute and feel the same fear before any rescue.

Yup, quite agree, tie her to a stake and let her drown in a river. An eye for an eye. I really hope the dog finds some owners who love him and that he lives a wonderful rest of his life (or her).

I don’t normally vindicate summary justice but, in this instance, I hope anyone who recognises the owners in the street beats them to within an inch of their lives. Furthermore, I hope this happens every time that they leave their house - and for a very long time.Quote:
