Not a bad place to be at all.

My collection as it currently sits, the photo is missing the Omega Flightmaster, Roamer Pasadena and PRS82 which are all away for a service currently.

That is bonkers. Little bit of a military theme going on there. I enjoyed zooming in on the CWC watches to see which ones you have. Would you really miss 4 or 5 of those and use the money to get an original 1980 Auto. A bit of consolidation can be good for you.:eagerness:

Bottom L to R: Anonimo Cronoscopio Mark ii, Tudor Heritage Chrono, Longines Hydroconquest Quartz, Anonimo Millemetri, Heuer 2000 automatic chronograph
Hmmm Anonimo cronoscopio mkII, lovely. Any chance of a few close-ups when you have time.
Nice collection too.

Been through a journey of around 35 or so watches over the last 7 years and currently I'm down to these 4, which I think is my magic number.

woodruffm, is the bracelet on the SD on back to front?
Great watches btw, I was hunting through the forum for the Sub and SD a few months ago and you'd bought the best two!
No, it's on the normal way, although it does look a little off in the photo for some reason.
Thanks, I am really smitten with the 5 digit divers, although for the life of me I can't get the sub to fit/sit correctly on the bracelet so I've given up and now wear it 24/7 on the rubber nato.

You have possibly picked my favorite watch of my little collection, I've owned it for quite a few years now & if I sold it, I'm not sure where I would be able to get another one from, so its defiantly a keeper, glad you like it.
Fantastic, & thanks for posting.
Would love one in my collection one day.

State of the chronograph collection to be more precise.
Chronos have become the core of my collection over the last 1.5-2 years.
Here's where we are at the moment:

Due to circumstances beyond my control I won't be buying (maybe only selling as a last resort) for a while and such time that I leave the UK - which is scheduled for September / October. To that end I an "stuck" with this little lot:
https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-...xXrspDC-X2.jpg
Loose: Omega X-33 MK2
Bottom: Rolex Air-King-Date; Rolex 126655 YM40 RG; Rolex 124060 Submariner non-date; Patek Philippe 5146J Annual Calendar Yellow Gold; Vacheron Constantine 4500V Blue; Rolex 116610LV "Hulk"
There is enough variety for now - I guess - some had to be culled which was sad as the Zenith really was a prize piece.
I will still continue to post, but don't expect any "incomings" for a while, at least until I reach the European markets.
(yes I know I need a better watch box....)
Cheers all. Martyn
I have had a few ins and outs recently so the collection stands at these

I am trying to work out what will be culled next. I seem to be in a clearance frame of mind, lots of things I collect are getting shifted on. It’s quite good for the mind.
That is a fantastic collection, Sinnlover. Full of beauties galore.
Sinnlover is the man, I can show that collection to the Mrs and I'll be off the hook for a while.
Nice selection buddy [emoji106]

Thank you for the kind words Gents
I really need to get a handle on it. Having this many watches is actually a ball ache. They just take up space plus the servicing costs are starting to have an impact.
Edit: I have just realised there is an entire box of Seikos and Citizens that are not in these pictures.
That’s how bad my obsession is, I don’t know how many I have!
There are 2 6309s a 007 and 2 Citizen wingman’s to add to the photo…
No single shot, but this is my lot as it stands right now. Zero intention to change anything, but you never know what might crop up at any given time :biggrin-new:

Can there be such a thing as an ‘anti collection’ approach? Only I seem to be on a mission to de-clutter life. How many watches do we need?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...05774fc8c0.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e6a44b68a0.jpg
And that’s it....the lot. One ‘glamorous’ , a bit, and the other, serious, no-nonsense performance in all conditions. And, for those who like quartz, but dislike batteries, I somehow acquired, years ago, a reliable CITIZEN.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0f1d59712d.jpg
Couldn’t need more, although i plead guilty to hankering after a seriously exotic new Rolex. But that may never happen; we will see.

I don’t think there’s an anti collection as such, just an ebb and flow of the number of watches you’re comfortable with or have in your collection.
With me certainly, it varies from three upwards. Having just bought another seiko, my collection is now at eight which I feel is too many but can’t really see where to reduce it beyond maybe two.
