The Witcher came out on Netflix last weekend and it is very good. Loved the game and the show has lived up to my expectations. The show follows the last Witcher game: Wild Hunt and the books - which I have not read. Without playing the game it is still watchable but playing has helped to follow the story. I do not know how closely the show follows the books.
My biggest concern was Henry Cavill being cast as Geralt but he actually plays the role very well, he really is outstanding as Geralt. Yennefer is also very well cast and acted. Only on episode 6 so far but looking forward to the rest of the series. I believe Netlix has already started production of a 2nd series. The show is very well done, fights scenes are well shot and it is very well written. It does jump about a bit into different time lines which could be hard to follow if you have no knowledge of the story. But overall if you like fantasy / action it is really worth a watch.
