Wifey just treated me (Tudor content)
Chaps,
Tudors have come and gone over the last couple of years but the most appealing was the first incarnation of the Black Bay Bronze. Although I adored the watch it just seemed to be , well, just a bit too bronze, well brown. A stunning watch all the same, but with something else in-coming it had to be culled.
Roll on a year and having tumbled through the Basel releases a few months ago and not playing a huge amount of attention, I completed missed the new Black Bay Bronze 79250BA Slate Grey. On DB's tattooed arm it was completed missed initially but when clocked it was a big wow moment.
So, having met and discussing with my AD a few weeks ago I got the call this morning that mine, complete with its black calf (almost suede) was in, very happy.....
Initial thoughts are the watch is even better in the flesh. The way the dial grades and fades through the greys is absolutely a thing of beauty, bezel colour has been nailed perfectly and the matt black calf strap just makes for a sublime package. The case is like a shiny new pin and I am looking forward to seeing this age over the coming months and years.
So, here's the pic's and ta to Mrs P.
