Omega Movement
Does anyone recognise this movement? It's engraved with the Omega logo highlighted in gold on the stainless back plate.
It's been suggested that the watch is a fake but this is the first time I've taken the back off so any imput would be much appreciated.
Thanks guys

I don’t consider myself an expert but I would bet that movement has never been anywhere near Omega, the finishing is so poor.
Do you have a pic of inside the case back and the front of the watch.

I do believe this movement is a vintage fake, I’m afraid. The Omega marking has been added afterwards. Here’s another movement the same but with a more ham-fisted Omega engraving in a different location.

Thanks for the responses, I'm not surprised as I thought the quality was not there but the Omega engraving was nicely done

Watch looks like late 60s/early 70s, movement looks like 1930s/40s. I’d expect to see a serial number on an Omega movement too. The movement appears to fit the case correctly so I’d say the watch is likely to be fake.
