I am not particularly a Military watch person although I do like a few but I came across this one on eBay and it caught my eye because it looks so nice.
It seems to be attracting a lot of interest so I was wondering if anyone had some info as to it's history. and why it seems to be so popular.

It’s quite a common Fleet Air Arm aircrew watch.
The strike through and re number with 0552 NSN is not often seen as most are found with older HS8 markings (navy vs hydrographic survey)
I am guessing the interest is 2 fold. It’s in very good nick. It’s cheap at the moment.
It’s a nice watch. I will be keeping an eye on it
