Hi All.
Thought I’d say hi as I’m new to the forum. Always loved wearing a watch but recently got the bug and started collecting. Currently have three watches.
I’m looking forward to reading the forums and joining in with the discussions. I’m sure I can learn a lot from you all.

I’ll list the watches with a bit of a timeline...
Tag Heuer Indy 500 - I bought this around 12 years ago, it was my first watch purchase and I loved it. I wore it almost everyday until around 4 years ago. I made the mistake of taking it to a local jeweller to change the battery, they didn’t replace the seal properly. Ended up with water in the watch and it was out of action for a few years.
Rolex Explorer 214270 - I bought this beginning of last year in the second hand market. I absolutely love this watch, it’s subtle and the sizing fits me well. I now wear this almost every day, it’s currently on an Everest strap. After buying this the watch bug kicked in so I sent the tag off for a full service!
Rolex Submariner 114060 - I got this earlier this year, I had the chance to get it from the AD so I’m happy it has my name registered to it. Mostly comes out to play at weekends!

I love the explorer on the oyster strap, but IMO it lacks a bit of adjustment so I always struggled to get it just right (I like my watch to fit snug). I gave the Everest tang buckle a go because of the amount of adjustment and it now fits perfectly. I’m happy with how it looks too, along with offering variation from the oyster bracelet on the sub :)Quote:
