The Serpent definitely gets better after a couple of episodes, the first are a bit slow but worth it as they build the story really well.
We ploughed through the whole thing in a couple of nights, best thing I've seen on the beeb in a while.

Watching 3% on Netflix. Its dubbed I think its South American, but very watchable if you like your Sci Fi!
Not sure if its been mentioned here but Carnival Row is good. Like GoT, it starts off slowly and gets better and better.
Finished Spiral Series 8 last night - excellent stuff.
cobra kai, watched all 3 series, if you loved the original film, you will love this
I might well be a bit late to the party but Queen's Gambit is the best thing I have watched on TV in a long time
Just watched long way up on apple, really enjoyed it

For those that liked The Queens Gambit there is another show called Godless on Netflix by the same guy. Absolutely superb and as much as I liked Gambit I thought Godless was better.

^ that looks good will add to my watch list.
Watched Lupin on Netflix which I found entertaining
We have just finished this:
"The Man in the High Castle is an American dystopian alternate history web television series depicting a parallel universe where the Axis powers of Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan rule the world after their victory in World War II"
Excellent. Based on a book by Philip K Dick And produced by Ridley Scott and Frank Spotnitz. Very uncomfortable in places but gripping to the end.
Alt history at it's best.
The missus and I have been bingeing on the US version of The Office. Not a new TV show at all but it only arrived on Netflix recently. Can't believe I hadn't seen it before. Put us both in laughing fits.
Not exactly new, but I have just started watching Lilyhammer. US Ex-Mafia mobster relocates to Norway. Very funny. Plus the lead is a ex-member of E Street Band.
Sharp Objects. Perfectly captures the sleepy yet creepy and incredibly dark atmosphere of a small deep south town through the eyes of a deeply disturbed journalist, facing her past demons whilst investigating the deaths of 2 young girls.
Make sure you keep watching to the very last end credits of the final episode!
Probably mentioned previous but started watching the Americans, just into series 2 and enjoying, still a long way to go so hoping it doesn’t flatline along the way
Not a new series, but one which had completely escaped my notice until now.
Available on Netflix (all series) and Amazon Prime Video (series 1-7).
I have only watched a couple so far, but am hooked already. From what I have seen so far I would describe it as 'easy watching, food meets travel meets politics'.
It’s an oldie but Oz looks promising, 3 episodes in

Just rewatched the 2 series of Barry.
Outstanding.
Just finished watching Lupin on Netflix, I would definitely recommend.
Fish out of water as in American Mobster in a rural Norway type way... :rapture:
but certainly worth a watch....
Just a quick PSA for anyone starting Lillyhammer - it was cancelled after three series, so you do get left in the lurch stortwise, somewhat. It is still absolutely worth watching, however.
Not new at all, but I've just watched the first two episodes of The Bush Tucker Man on YouTube. Excellent.
Started Discovery of Witches tonight and first couple were alright.
Anyone seen it??
Pitch
Susan Calman's Grand day out C5 9pm Friday
Very good travel show as Susan and her Camper van
'Helen' travel round different areas of the UK
Calman is a great host very natural and funny with it
And of course the scenery is stunnning, she also done a Scottish version which is also worth watching.
Straight after that is Great Train Journeys , narrated by Bill Nighy ,although you don't see him, his lilting tones follow the Trains on journeys around the World last week up to Mt Etna great scenery all the way
Cheers
Late to the party (season IV is on its way) but the Marvelous Mrs Maisel on Amazon Prime is really, really funny. High ratings on IMDB as well.
Another vote for Godless on Netflix..very good
Starts tonight @9pm BBC2 Dramatisation ( Based on the true story )of the murder of Danish Reporter Kim Wall, killed on a homemade Submarine.. and her body found 11 days later and the skipper of the Sub changing his story all the time, couple of Nordic noir Borgen favourites star as well looks good.....
Cheers
And for the voiceover geeks on the forum..... apparently the detective who gets closest to working out who Lupin is, is the same voice actor that plays the Professor in Money Heist.
Personally I watched the brilliant Money Heist in Spanish which is a much better experience but my 13 year spotted this.

Anyone else watching Briarpatch on Alibi?
Woman returns to the town of her youth after her sister is murdered.
Has a definite Fargo vibe, enjoying it so far.
