I'm looking for a 20mm black alligator strap with a deployant clasp for my Speedmaster - the OEM Omega version is knocking on the door of £500, so I've been looking for something a little less pricy.
While searching ebay I saw Bob Marino straps & clasps for around £45 - this seems so reasonable that I wonder if there's a catch.
Can anyone recommend or otherwise?
Not had experience of that style, but if you are buying from Waccex then I can recommend the seller. Bought quite a few BOB straps in different styles and all have been good value.

Another vote of confidence in Waccex here. I’ve also bought many BOB straps from them over the years and they’re excellent vfm.

Hirsch straps are great and cheap. Watchobsession stock 100s of varieties.
The more expensive ones are fine. The cheaper ones look and feel like plastic. Bought two different types recently round the 20 quid mark and was disappointed. Stiff and horrible. Ebay has nicer straps for half the price. Lesson learned. No reflection on WO who are always excellent.Quote:

Purchased one of the BOB Uhrenarmband Vintage Kalb, Modell straps last year via ebay for my everyday Oris, beautifully made strap for very little money, thinking about another for the Speedy.
