My wife's going to hate you for supplying those links Eddie.
Some really esoteric ideas in some of those.......... Ostrich Shin or Emu Leg anyone :D
My latest acquisition came with an Ostrich Shin strap from APB.
I'm very impressed with the quality - I will get round to posting some pics.
Thanks for the links Eddie.
Cheers,
Nigel
Any ideas where you can get a strap for a fixed lug watch, that's curved fixed lugs!

Thanks for the links Eddie. I just tried the Banda link to order a custom strap and got in a right muddle trying to send special instructions using their matrix so abandoned it . Also found the options rather confusing . Then tried the Jean-Rousseau site and the matrix was much easier and user friendly .

Any chance of adding Carl (gasgasbones) to your list ?
His straps are expertly made, truly unique and really well priced.
. . . and he's a thoroughly nice bloke.
He's been working on one for me for my 50 and been absolutely brilliant.
Worth an ask.
Cheers,
Martin.

Have had a couple from Carl & one from Toshi. All the straps are works of art, as well as affordable!
Can just repeat what has been said already. The straps from Rich/ Toshi and Carl/ Gasgasbones are just amazing and great value:

I got mine from Rich/Toshi, brilliant strap!
Here is one my saddle maker made for me, it was copied off a WWII Biographical Paratrooper that I have, but they were made for the USAAF.

I must say that I am not a fan of putting Panny-style buckles on all and sundry watches but Pannies.
I am partly with you on that. I don't even like them (fishtails) on Pannies.Quote:

Re fishtails.I recently handled a watch on a rather thick, wide strap, one of Toshis creations. A very well made strap, but the fishtail buckle it had attached was simply enormous and not something I could ever contemplate owning.
Hi all, new to this site & enjoying reading up on everything.
Not only do I own a number of straps from the manufacturers of the watches I own, but I also make my own known as JPHstraps
Here are a few of my 100% handmade straps;
24mm-26mm honey brown calf leather, no stitch.

Hi
I collect vintage watches and if I want to have nice straps I need a fortune!
I want to made my "own straps" but in Romania I don't find "raw materials" like exotic leather (croco, lizzard, python, shark), good buckles & deployants at good price. If you can give me some links, adress, advice, knowledges, etc. I will be gratefull.
Thank you
Constantin
Hi,
Would anyone know where I can get a custom strap for a Bell & Ross BR03-92?

Just what I was looking for, thank you.
Try Toshi on this very forum! He's good (and his prices are reasonable).Quote:

Also have a 2nd hand Toshi which is superb.
Hi,this is my first post here. I found this forum through a B&R forum. Just want to share a few photos of a strap I just made during the weekend for a fellow from France. It is a carbon fiber strap for BR03. I am surprised how it turns out. I think it looks really cool. Comments welcome.

This could also be your last post here, I'm surprised you joined just to promote your own straps which if you had read the forum first, you would know is not allowed.Quote:

As a follow up to a post in the general watch forum about Omega deployants, I've had a few very affordable straps made by Inspire Workshop.
I wanted some made for mine and the missus watches - they are custom made and a very good price. Lots of choice, and good customer service.

The last one is for the Breitling Ocean Racer deployant - looks and feels very nice, but could maybe do with being a little thicker.
Cheers

Thanks for all the photos guys, need a few straps and you've given me a few cheaper/nicer options than I had before.
Only just looked at this thread and taken a look at the ABP website. Some beautiful creations on there - and some that just completely freaked me out. Toad Leather and Beaver Tail being the ones in particular that made me say "What the ....". Amazing. And looking at other people's posts - really great service from them as well. Seriously tempted to try a few of the more esoteric options on there....
very nice strap
some good links, cheers
