This is old news though. Someone, maybe his father in law or Cummings father in law told a journalist this two or three weeks ago and he’s denied it. Who knows if there’s any truth to it.

I cannot believe this needs explaining, but IAG did not drop by 30% on Monday - in fact the share price performance was marginally positive. Holders of IAG stock were granted subscription rights to buy new shares at EUR 0.92 (three new shares for two existing shares), which means they are owning their IAG shares like before plus an option to purchase new shares at a discount. The subscription rights were listed on the stock exchange and investors can decide to sell them for cash or exercise them into new shares. Trading in the rights will stop on 25 September and there are oftentimes strange patterns towards the end of the trading period, when cheap right can be bought because banks are dumping the rights of those customers who haven't reacted so far.
The mathematics are explained here and the actions which shareholders need to take are here.
Bankers being naughty? No way. In other surprising news I read an article about a bear that defecated in the woods

NKLA. Just saying.
TSLA is next.
NKLA founder and chairman just quit. Ouch
Carnage out there today, wowzers.
Just bought back a third at $21.75.
Tried to put in a sell order to short again a few dollars higher but no shares available for borrowing....
Same what happened to me with Wirecard. [emoji24]
Premium Bond odds have been reduced from 1 in 24,500 to 1 in 34,500

They're also reducing the number of £100,000 prizes from 7 to 4 and £50,000 prizes from 14 to 9.
Gold and Silver also getting a beating

Uh oh. If so, not a great idea for world governments to take on a load of debt. I'd assumed there would be a huge engineering of inflation by governments but of course you need demand and rising earnings to do that OR you need your own currency to be worth sod all vs others and then import stuff. (Looking at China closely)
For the next few months, definitely.
But, when demand returns after a vaccine, and supply has been damaged by businesses who have scaled back or gone bust during Covid, inflation may well come back.
For example, I think cheap travel has been lost for a very long time. Also, investment has just stopped in industries like oil and gas.
Tesla melting after hours after Elon tweeted that nothing much solid is to be expected from battery day. Think he is scared of being nailed for security fraud after what happened to Nikola's Trevor Milton.
The beginning of the end.
More fun and games coming up tomorrow:
Good morning, it's Battery Day.
Recommended dress code: shorts.
A lot of social security “investors” are going to be in tears this afternoon.
ETA - though, of course, cause it’s TSLA and it’s crazy market time, I bet we’re all wrong and it’ll go up.
What time does battery day proceedings kick off?
All these small movements in Tesla are just noise. It needs to tank 70% or more to return to reality.
90 %.
Battery day. Here are the best questions for Musk, filed through the online platform:

Which one is your favourite? I am drawn back and forth between Gregory and Melissa....
'and beyond' wins Melissa the Sychophant's Choice award IMO
But the self-charging battery using C-14 nuclear waste (!) in a diamond case must be a very very close second then?

I'm sure I recognise the distinctive style of a couple of those from recent amazon reviews.
Here you can watch and listen to the clown show. It's still the AGM at the moment, Battery Day should begin in about half an hour.
I don't know if anyone is watching, Elon is clearly besides himself. He took a break after the first 15 minutes and keeps rubbing his nose while stuttering through the text. My detective senses are screaming that he is loaded with coke, and I don't mean the stuff which comes in red cans.
Just turned in for a split second. Hilarioushttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...13b6f93a49.jpg
This is why the situation is ridiculous. On Reddit, the group for investors in Tesla stock is much bigger than the group for Tesla owners. Surely they must see the irony that for their investments to be worth anything there needs to be an absolute ton of owners https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4eaeaed3b6.jpg
The pre market isn't liking this. '50% more efficient battery' says the guy who previously told us that by the end of this year all Teslas would be fully automated like driverless taxis.
Up a bit, down a bit and back where we started.

There is no way this guy isn't on drugs.
I would not want to be a shareholder in that company right now. The guy presenting alongside is having to recap every ramble and interrupt Elon to keep the session on track. He's also in charge of the slide deck.
Elon really reminds me of this kid.
