That would be a big cake, plenty for everyone. I liked the analogy that a FF was like a burger and having owned three I get that.

Great stuff Martyn, lovely watch.
I'm not a massive fan of PP but that is gorgeous!
Quick trip over the bridge to Bahrain to pick this up. A difficult watch to snag in Saudi so happy this one came up.. bloody gorgeous.

Very nice. The domed saphhire is very slick on that model.
This one recently. Unbelievable.

Just delivered, quick soapy scrub and added a link… well happy.
2nd Pelagos and about 5th Tudor. Really taken with the Blue - surprisingly so. It is out of my comfort zone normally.

Congratulations Martyn, love the colour of the dial.
Simple is sometimes best, like that a lot.
Very nice, love the colour combination.
It could be and will do a review in a week or so.
Thanks Stephen :-)
Thank you.
Hand delivered yesterday. Now sized & very comfortable. My first Spring Drive & “high end” Seiko.

I think you can see its ceramic a bit clearer on my ROO43, below;

With Wiley's new one I think the angle/sun has hit the watch and it looks an all steel case perhaps (no disrespect to your photography skills!!)
Thanks guys, totally made up but haven't bought any straps yet. I looked before and they were £250 (cheap Vs £240 per side for Oysterflex) but now depending on which part of the AP website you go to it's either £480 or £520, quite a jump! Luckily it comes with two straps.
Lovely detailing under the macro, just don't look too closely at the chrono hand for hours!
I was offered a titanium 43 not long ago but with a titanium bezel so turned it down as I know I'll damage it but the ceramic bezel looks Ti head on.

Some stunning incomings recently. I took delivery of this a few days back. I think there was more chance of Everton winning the Champions League than the was me getting the call, so after a bit of honest haggling this beauty on SC found it’s way to me.

Great choice Ken!.
Bit of a hiatus for me currently TBH. I lost my Mum in April and we are pretty much at the point of settling the estate after probate etc. I have an initial release of funds prior to the sale of the property and the 'old me' would have just spaffed the funds on another for the collection. I have deliberated for a couple of weeks and I (apparently) have become sensible and will be using the monies to pay of the remainder of the mortgage we have.
A real change of heart and an open mind has resulted in this:-

Loving it so far - normal service may be resumed later.........
With a 100m water resistance rating, silicone balance manual wound movement with 60 hour power reserve, it's a no brainer. Collected today and I'm more than happy.

My new Mark XX. Love the racing green dial. IWC has nailed the bracelet - quick micro adjust via a button on the clasp, the ability to add or remove links in seconds via a button on each link and the quick release system which means you can change the strap without tools. Nice and thin, 100m WR, 120 hours power reserve. An ideal daily watch, I think. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6a78fe4c16.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4a8ff2bccf.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...dfe590452f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...84d846082d.jpg

I always quite liked the quirkiness of Alan Silberstein watches, and have been on the look out for a reasonably cheap one, but never got round to taking the plunge. Went to Newark Antiques Fair this week, and in amongst a whole load of fairly dull and mostly overpriced Omegas and Rolex, I saw this. Got it at a decent price and I love it.
