Here it is.
Long thought process of should I or should I not use Sapphire instead of original hesalite.
Since I already owned original Speedmaster Moonwatch, sapphire was the preference all be it costly option.
Very happy with the result, coversion cost £80+vat so very reasonable.

Steinhart OVM 39mm just in from Singapore. Initial impressions are very good. Not too heavy or in any way oversized. Just removed the plethora of stickers. Resized the bracelet (very easy to do). It came with a Gnomon NATO which was nice.

Edited to add side profile shot. Equally comfy on sailcloth strap as well as Marathon rubber

Well done. I just love Marathons. Today they hold the real life position that Rolex and Omega used to have. An affordable tool watch at slightly higher price than their competitors due to their credentials and history. And you can take them where you would never take your Sub, etc... and I think they look great too.
Cheers... i’ll take a couple of shots front and back when I get a minute, albeit on the iPhone.
I completely agree, forgot how light and comfortable the 58 is, been on my wrist with the GMT this last week.
Technically not new but back after a long time away with Marathon for servicing (3 months) I can highly recommend Marathon for servicing they were great.
The MSAR and CSAR returned today.
I opted to keep the MSAR all original, the CSAR has had the works, new dial, hands, case bezel it’s a right trigger broom but like a brand new watch.

Comments were expected, sadly. Anyway, another one taken on the fly...

I’ve been after a good one for ages and this is a Stella example as new condition.
An exquisite addition to the collection I hope you agree. Will be mainly used as a dress watch.

In this week courtesy of Mr Draftsmann. Perfect daily watch for me. Having owned 3 in 556 variants in the past, something always brings me back in!
