Me too, 2.0 Sport Tech 2019. This is real driving and visceral.

Whilst I personally abhor the purely fashionable trend toward SUVs, the missus likes 'em and so shortly, she'll be driving this for the foreseeable...

My wife originally was looking for something 'environmental' for the school run etc. Then she found the f-pace. We ended up with a black 3 litre 16 valve beast. Clearly, social considerations were rapidly cast aside!
Amazing car though...

My missus has zero need for such a beast. We have no kids. I can't remember the last time she had passengers in the rear seat. She doesn't carry very large objects around in the boot. A thorough waste of money compared to the A-Class she currently has that can do over 70mpg with ease on a run. Still..... LOL. Love the video!
Doing our bit, with the Cayman and Boxster barely turning a wheel on the drive, as I WFH and my wife takes the Smart for the 50mile daily commute to keep miles low on hers & frugal fuel sipping.
We should sell one, but she prefers the Boxster, and I prefer the Cayman, so never going to find a middle ground there!
Visceral you say...?

What do you do for a reverse gear? I knew a chap who had a BEC but without one. Quite amusing to see him pushing it around the pub car park.

...and at the other end of the spectrum , our Austin 10 got a bit past it so my Dad planted it in his garden

Speaking of BECs my 220bhp Hayabusa road reg SR3 nips along quite nicely
Love a Radical. Any pics?

Great. Mate in the village has an Ultima. Another nuts car.
These are the cars we'll miss when we've all gone electric. True, electric cars are chuffing quick, but it's the thrill of a gear change, heel and toe, the smell and of course the sound.

Too true - one of my clients has an Ultima - fab V8 engine. Even the Radical bike engine had a certain charm to the sound when wound up. I thought it accellerated quite quickly but I suspect the present and next gen electric racecars are/will be in a different league

Anyone got a 330e? Any idea of average MPG just using the ICE?
Couldn’t tell you the MPG of just ICE, as mine simply reads the max MPG figures, as during the week it covers my commute on electric power alone. I’d expect it to be very similar to the 3 series with the 2 litre turbo engine alone, with a little deficient for the additional kg’s
Six weeks in with the Jaguar I-Pace and thoroughly enjoying it, home charging is a doddle and the performance is great.

There's a Quaife in line reversing box in the prop tunnel. One of these: https://shop.quaife.co.uk/wp-content...G-2-Resize.jpg but mine is gold annodised ally rather than black!
Because of the way it works, you get six forward gears courtesy of the bike gearbox. Then you engage reverse, and presto, you have six reverse gears too.
In theory it will do about 145mph in reverse, I've never attempted more than about 10mph backwards, it's an absolute bugger to reverse.
Sounds like a great solution. I wonder what the world speed record is for reversing...

165kph apparently. In a Caterham!

The ST went a while back to make room for a new A4 Black Edition. Not as much fun but a bit more refined (not sure if that's a good thing!).

You recall wrong I think. It has 404PS in total combined ICE and EV power. The 300ish BHP is the petrol ICE 2.0 turbo part, and 141ish BHP is the EV part. Seems you lose 40 odd ps/bhp when they combine. 404PS actually is 398.4 BHP, although most reviews normally quote PS as BHP.
Yup it is a nice car, definitely better than the 340bhp diesel one we had previously. (which was also a very nice car!)

Recently sold my ND2 NX5, which I was very sad about, such a fantastic car.
But today picked this beauty up:

It's just as good as it looks, this car has been given a lot of love in the last few years.
Very happy :eagerness:
Lovely car, I have a similar one
Loads of fun to drive, I put it up for sale early in the year but fortunately it didn't sell[emoji3] enjoy it!!!

My new daily.

(Just kidding, but I spotted it on the mean streets of Leamington Spa yesterday!)
What is it? MOT site says it's a blue "Aston Martin unknown".
It's this actual car, I think - although the video description says "debut at the FOS 2021", and it's a 2020 plate?

Pictured shortly before it broke down.
Not pictured : all the driver modes and tech that doesn't work yet.
I had to stop driving in 2008, but if I could it’d be comfort over speed for me and nothing modern. Probably an XJ12 or XJC

So I went from a five door practical Golf R to a two series.

it does have a bigger boot!
An update, no more Subaru Forester for me, my uncle gave up driving and gave me this beast, a 2004 Skoda Fabia 1.4 Comfort with about 56k miles on the clock:

Almost all my driving is within a three-mile radius, with the occasional trip a bit further, although it did sterling service to Cornwall and back last month. Brilliant car, 50mpg (and 500 miles from a tank), rides and drives beautifully and because it's so small you have a lot of road to play with. I still have this in the garage:
