4 weeks ago. Football eh. God bless ya.
Also congratulations to Ipswich. Fair play

Not a town fan (WHU STH), but live in the county and have loved their story. Same group of layers achieving back to back success and playing the right way, what an achievement.
I hope Norwich come up too, be good to see them both in the Prem next year.

I do fear for Leeds in the play offs...in poor form and a lack of confidence. Firpo can be a liability despite good going forwards. Had a shocker today for the second goal. I like to think the Norwich sub-plot will be enough to galvanise the team. However, a potential final against Southampton? Not looking too rosy...

Such a brilliant result. After years of refusing to go down like a turd stuck in a toilet, they finally drop. After being owned by some truly dreadful owners, their new "saviours" are the ones to finally get them out of the division, just not in the direction they hoped for. That's twice they've sacked a manager when in 6th to then appoint absolutely terrible managers in their place. Good riddance, and apologies to the good supporters of League 1, not all people from the city are like them.
Unbeaten at home in 16 matches (5th November) and we figure pretty high in the various form tables.
The whole squad has confidence and battle but quality is shaky. Three players out for a while figured today which was great to see.
I’ve got a good feeling.

As a Wednesday fan I’m obviously ecstatic - but Ipswich deserve every accolade and definitely are this seasons story for me. Phenomenal achievement and shows what momentum does
Yep you’re right too - only got out of bottom 3 for first time on 21st April. 252 days in the bottom 3.
I have no idea how we are going to beat you over two legs.
The coaching staff don't know either.
We have lost all confidence and belief and I really don't think we can get it back this season.
This is when you rely on characters and leaders who can motivate and I don't see a single one, maybe with the exception of Connor Roberts.
I counted a single shot from us second half and that was from a set piece.
It was, less so now. Genuinely Leeds look clueless going forward and shaky defensively. If Leeds don't score first, which they've stopped doing lately, then you win and Leeds have conceded early recently.....
I recognise the job Farke has done this season but he has been out managed in games recently and seemingly has no in game tactical awareness (or set piece specialist, we must have had 150+ free kicks and corners without scoring!).
For those going to the play offs. Don’t become too disheartened as anything can happen.
We came into them in bad form (we did win our last two but went 8 without a win)
I was at both legs of ours last year (0-4 / 5-1). If that shows you anything, it’s that nothing is guaranteed. I doubt anyone thought we’d get through after the first leg let alone go up.
Hull City have sacked their manager having got them to their highest position in the league in several years and missing out on a play off place by 3 points. Seems an odd decision having signed a contract in December any Hull fans on here, happy with that decision?
Not a hull fan but I live locally and the entire fan base is perplexed! Most seem it think Paul Heckingbottom is the favourite, some are shouting for Steve Bruce again!
One of our first choice centre half’s just been done for drink driving.
Great.

Late to this but you’re wrong with VAR. It is there for determining if someone is offside. No clear and obvious in that element of it and never has been. It’s ‘factual’ - PGMOL’s words not mine’ - because you are either off or on. Similar to it being factual in the fourth use of VAR, mistaken identity (has anyone seen it used for that?!)
Application of VAR is the issue and I think most agree with that.
One thing you rarely see people talk about is goal line tech which baffles me. Yes there is a human element to VAR but people always talk about frame rates and margins of error. The owner of Hawkeye has admitted there is a margin of error with goalline tech too yet when there is a close call (I commentated spurs Bournemouth, look how close that one was), nobody shouts “what about the margin of error!”
It’s arguably more problematic with goal line tech because that margin of error determines if it’s a goal every time. With VAR and offside it only determines a goal if it’s reviewing one. The rest of the time it determines a penalty or red card which doesn’t guarantee to change the one metric that really matters: the score.

Absolutely crazy decision. As a sky blue it means that will be one more side not to worry about next season, I thought they were one of the better sides in that league and he would have had a good chance of top 6 next season. Some of the owners are delusional about where their club should be. So glad we have a sensible owner in Doug King.
I wouldn't even wish Steve Bruce on Sunderland (again), they've suffered enough. I see they're officially the highest average home attendance in the Championship this season. They're our rivals and all six-toed mutants but considering the dross they've been served up this season, that's amazing! Well done. FTM.
Now wandering up the lane to jump on the bus, glorious morning here.

Well that was a cure for insomnia if ever there was one.
Southampton at West Brom next. Would assume Saints will get through but you never know. None of the play-off contenders are in good form
Well full on 30 mins and then pedestrian, both teams absolutely f@?ked.
Did Leeds turn up??? Hell their fans were quiet.
Ho hum and onto the next

In a game where it's nailed on for goals and chances there was almost nothing.
Playing Rutter as the lone striker and three in midfield didn't give us any chance of holding the ball up.
We have got to be the happier of the two with the home tie to come and hopefully a different set up.
0-0
0-0
Inspiring! Nobody wants to leave the champs!
Sure but looking at who goes up this time it will be a club without significant financial resources. Norwich have historically plummeted straight back down, Leeds I'm not sure about the financial position but they're nowhere near PL quality currently, ditto Saints and double ditto West Brom.
Leicester will start with a points deduction and Ipswich, well I hesitate to write them off seeing as what they have achieved is utterly remarkable but really I can't see a way they wouldn't finish in the bottom 3.
But I could be wrong and have been many times before!
well I'm off to the pub later with my Norwich mate to see him celebrate/suffer (will edit around 10pm for accuracy)
it cant be as boring as Sunday's game as this needs to finish with pens if all else fails
