I've a couple shot with a 200mm lens that aren't too bad, will see if I can find them. I really need to get the right camera adaptor for the Questar sorted out and have a play with that.
Took this with my 100-400mm zoom plus 1.4 time converter

Telescope purchased and soon hopefully...
Here are some of my efforts taken with Canon dslr, 400mm lens and 2x converter. The first two are our moon (obviously!). The third is Jupiter and moons. The last is the clearest pic I could get of Jupiter. If you look closely you can make out some of the cloud rings. I was quite excited by this. I am looking to get a telescope but keep spending my savings on watches!

500mm Nikon, ISO 500, 1000th sec, early evening...

WRT Jupiter - it it weren't so bright, and so close (angle wise) to it's main moons, you be able to see the moons with your naked eye.
