My DSSD was serviced by an independent watchmaker called Sean Yates who trades as About Time Watch Repair and is based in Middlewich in Cheshire.
I am really very impressed. He did the job in 6 weeks as originally promised, his communication is excellent and he charged me £300 which I think is excellent vfm. He says on his website that he specialises in Rolex and Omega, and he wasn’t remotely concerned about servicing a DSSD even though other indies I contacted said they couldn’t get hold of seals for one.

I’m guessing the previous owner will be pleased to know that the watch is now in perfect health [emoji6].
