That and the linked example gave me a good laugh!
So I've got the Heuer bug back after picking up a lovely Pasadena from Thom4711 this week. Shopping around on eBay to see what's available and prices etc and came across this beauty: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Rar...ate-Blue-Watch
What is it with people doing very dodgy fixes on Heuer's? I posted about another one a while ago here: http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...lendar-on-eBay.

Thats terrible! If you are going to do it, at least do it legibly.
Cheers..

That's freehand at its worst.
Serves its purpose!
Odd to show the one that is hand finished. Perhaps the other days are much worse.

Looks fine to me ! Nice watch !
Must be tired, took me a while to notice. Not a night for me to be buying watches!

Franken, The case and caseback are not Heuer either, perhaps only the dial is.
Stupid really on the day wheel, they can be redily bought for $60 in almost any language you care to choose, including English.
Those dials are lovely, shame to see one so badly put together.

Surely whoever did it didn’t think that people wouldn’t notice???
That’s truly scary that people are out there that would make a decision to draw with pens on vintage Heuers believing it would add value?? You have to get to the dial or day wheel in order to do that so surely they have had enough knowledge to open the watch?
Could also mean that there attempt to get to said dial or wheel resulted I further damage to the internals?!?!
Some people should just walk away from things before their minds get carried away!
Funny as we have guys that would give a watch back for a minuscule scratch somewhere and here we have guys using felt tips to cartoon their watches🤣🤣

Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't a Thursday...
