I have a T8 box. You can pick the up for £80-£100. Great value, football, boxing, movies etc.

Can anyone suggest a good Android device to plug into a TV?

I use a Chromecast with Netflix and it works faultlessly.
I stream from my Samsung Galaxy Tab via Chromecast which works very well. I even plugged the Chromecast into my Amp so can now enjoy everything in surround sound (not convinced it's fully digital 5.1/7.1 but still way better than the naff in-built TV speakers.
Streamed movies and latest TV series from Amazon and also Showbox Apk.
Amazon Fire TV is very good, especially for Prime members. It comes in either box or stick form, with voice controlled remote.
Raspberry pi running openelec and kodi...
Thanks guys
I've been fighting with Sky for far too long, so I am looking forward to making the cancellation call when I have something else in place.
I bought a Minix Neo X8 android box that arrived Saturday. Haven't been able to plug it in yet because my back went on Friday and I can't move!
Hopefully my son in-law is coming over tonight to set it up and probably drink all my beer!
Android box like MX boxes or something with decent hardware for full HD rendering....
Install Kodi and Google how to install genesis and phoenix and whatever takes your fancy....
Stop feeding the fat cats....
I've found the android boxes, especially the cheaper ones bog down easy and stutter more on playback, whereas the raspberry pi seems a lot more stable, plus you can dual boot the Pi with another OS... Lots more options...
Just make sure you have a good internet connection :)
Recently Installed ShowBox on my pc and its working absolutely fine. here is the link https://www.appforpcshub.com/showbox-for-pc/
