It is a magnificent watch. I love mine, so nice it's too good to wear.
This and a 29A, the perfect two watch combo.

Alright! The PRS82 arrived last week - still in the honeymoon phase. Seriously, love this watch. Felt a bit small at first but I actually love the size now - something about the case has real presence.
Two questions for those out there with these beauties (or even if you just know the answers!).
1. Winding - which way do I wind this? Clockwise or anti-clockwise? Clockwise feels like it has a bit too much resistance (so loathe to do it that way) - Anti clockwise?
2. Setting the time - hoping I am just doing something wrong here, but I find it hard to set the time - like the crown keeps losing its grip/catches intermittently. If I pull it out 3 clicks, I have to keep pulling for it to catch, even then, it is a bit hit and miss? Kinda bummed on this one as I am pretty sure it is not supposed to do that! Something broken? Trip to the watch repairer? - EDIT: Silly me didn't pull it out quite far enough (being too gentle) Thanks to Eddie for helping me out there!
Waiting for other straps to arrive to take piccies. That said, really like the rubber strap!

Perfect companion for the beach and watersports as intended. Set and forget timekeeping (+33s in 14 days). Silicone strap very comfortable. Bezel turnable with wet hands. Took the knocks in wave conditions tough enough to break one of my boards in half. Good work.
Cheers

Got mine back recently after being sent away for regulating and it's now running at -1s per day! I love this watch even more now!
Good to hear. Did you use anyone you can recommend in case useful for other people? (Possibly me!)
One of the things I love about mine (and I only see this on a handful of my other watches) is the bluish tint to the crystal in certain light, from the AR coating I guess.
I've noticed that the watch is currently out of stock, but more are on order - where are all these NOS movements coming from?! Remains a great piece and what I wear most days.
500 have been made with the 2783.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Just a quick snap of the 82 on the "Nageur De Combat" from seikosthlm over at MWR.
Suits it well IMHO.
it may be wrong, but I put mine on a tapering black leather strap which makes it look even more period.
If I go swimming its back on a nylon of course.
On a leather nato non nato I bought on sale
Wanted one of these for a long time. Only thing making me pause is how it will look on my puny 6.75in wrists. Any thoughts? I have a SBIII and a 29B and they wear fine
long since sold but enjoyed it whilst I had it. Quality and dimensions were excellent but I couldn't get away with not having a date and never warmed to the vintage lume.

Mine travelled across Norway this month. Still one of my favorite watches and certainly my favorite from Timefactors.
