I was told mid-end of summer.
Anyone know when the Seiko boutique is opening in London? Last visit it was "coming soon".
Where will it be? Bond St?
Seven Dials?
I'll be ALL over it when/if one appears

Yes, it is Knightsbridge. Just a few doors down from WoS.

Really looking forward to this.
I wonder how large the boutique will be and how many models they will stock?
Will sure to spend a lot of time in there!

I make that:
57 Brompton Road
LONDON
SW3 1DP
...a few doors away from WoS/PP. What we now need is a date.
Here's an older thread: link.
David Harnby, director of sales & marketing at Seiko UK, said: "We are delighted to be working with Knight Frank in what is a watershed moment for Seiko. The search for a flagship Central London boutique will allow the brand to build on the most recent openings in Sydney and Frankfurt.
With the Athletics World Championships scheduled for London next summer and with Seiko the official time keeper for the event, there has never been a better opportunity to build on the momentum and excitement around the brand and specifically our Grand Seiko collection.
Keep an eye on News?

any idea what the prices will be like? i'm guessing a considerable markup because UK?
With Jura it is not that simple, because they often give discounts. I can't help wondering whether Grand Seiko will attempt to enforce standard prices . They appear to now aspire to quite an 'upmarket' position. IThe last thing they will, want is their retailers selling mainly on price. You can't grow an upmarket reputation like that.

Info link: Seiko Boutique, Knightsbridge, London.
Has anyone been there yet?
See this thread: Grand Seiko Knightsbridge - open!
Seiko UK's website is awful, it's always out of date and is often full of errors (e.g. some watches will be advertised as having sapphire instead of hardlex, or both in some cases). FYI that page just links to the regular Seiko website, the boutique doesn't seem to have its own site yet, nor is there a UK-specific GS site.
Just rang them to check Marine Master 300 prices. 3K, as someone said. Egads!
Does anyone know a reliable seller in Europe for an MM300?
Yes I would. You asked for a European seller. This is one.
Other than the 3k in the boutique, you won't get one anywhere else in the Uk (apart from used).
Only other alternative is to buy from Japan for around $1900 , then pay VAT on top
Folks - fair enough. There was a thread the other day, but for some daft reason I can't find it, is the general consensus that the Chrono24 Trusted Checkout is as safe as a major ebay seller? Seen a couple on there as well, for example: https://www.chrono24.co.uk/seiko/her...-id5167842.htm and the best price: https://www.chrono24.co.uk/seiko/pro...-id6658871.htm
£250 cheaper on their website (£1890).

Gnomon has em listed at $2039us - £1578 using XE converter. Figuring in tax still far better than the boutique price.

The prices in the Seiko Boutique are bonkers...this: http://www.azfinetime.com/seiko-pros...a-can-sbdb013/ is £4200!
