I wear pretty much all my watches in rotation. Some are more favoured than others, but even that changes. There are a couple I wear but rarely. Basically because working examples are rare and they're very delicate.

As I have quite a few in my collection is like wearing a new watch every couple of weeks.

This - though I tend to swap watches at least once a week. I wear all of mine regardless of value - ranging from £1.5K to £30K

I'd describe myself as a wearer, but I've a couple that just never get worn. I've a lovely Breiting Cosmonaute 809 from the mid-Sixties that I've never really got on with; a bit blingy for me. Never got round to selling it, which I suppose I should, if I could be arsed.

Collector and wearer, but I don’t wear most of my watches. The numbers have got far too high again, but there are some I’ll never wear and never sell, I just like having them.
It's just a matter of time...

in a wearer but only when going out etc, i don’t have a great deal of money and my watches aren’t expensive by many standards but i try and keep them immaculate and not damage them which limits wear, and i can’t wear one at work as it wouldn’t last the day. I buy with the intention to wear.

Don't think I have enough to be classed as a collector

Collector here. I pondered getting rid of most of my Favre Leuba but I do wear them at different times.

I have worn all of my watches when new, but only wear a few on a regular rotation. I have 50 plus watches now and have only ever flipped a few, I must be more of a hoarder than a collector.

As I've never sold any of my watches I suppose I could be classed as a hoarder too.

Worn all my watches, but if needs must or need to make room for an incoming, happy to flip or sell.

    Both.
I bought a beautiful Sea Dweller Swiss only dial.? Wore her for two years. Full Rolex service and she’s a safe queen
Now wear 24/7 a lovely covert Milgauss Black face GV and love it’s battle scars.

So both, collector with lots of other watches, plus daily wearer.

    Definitely a wearer.
I think the little machines that we obsess over deserve to tick away serving their purpose. It seems somehow wasteful otherwise.

    Imo. Ymmv. Usual caveats.

Well, I'm a wearer, but there are times when I regret this as I can't manage to give more than 8 watches a reasonable wearing rotation. There are lots of watches out there that I love (and a fair number that I could afford!), but I just can't!

I wear a watch for two weeks maximum, then it's back in the box and hello to a different one.

The most I have worn a watch for its when I received my PO.

Wear all mine (except the few I keep for sentimental reasons only) to a greater or lesser extent regardless of value.

    I'm batting for both sides.

Contrasting to some of the other views on here, I tend to wear my more expensive/vintage pieces and seem to pick up cheaper watches (mainly Seiko and Vostoks) that remain unworn.

I have only 3 watches, Rolex Datejust, Tudor Black Bay, Grand Seiko quartz. I wear them in rotation, so I’m definitely a wearer. I hope to add one more watch, most likely a Rolex Explorer II polar 40mm, and it should fit well into a routine rotation. The idea of owning many watches that seldom get worn, or of constantly flipping watches just isn’t my thing.

    I am what I am
    I don't want praise, I don't want pity
    I bang my own drum
Some think it's noise, I think it's pretty
And so what if I love each sparkle and each bangle
Why not try to see things from a different angle

I used to be a wearer, however some of the collection have simply become to valuable to wear, so spend a lot of the time in the safe.

I am now seriously considering moving some of these on.

Hoarder probably best describes my watch habits.
