nice pictures, loverly watches.
:D
Hello Gents,
Whilst I was taking some pictures today of some watches to put up on the SC I realised that 3 watches in my small collection actually house in House Movements, so here they are...... I hope you like them.
Left to Right.
Late 1950's IWC dress watch, caliber 89 movement. Seiko 6139-7030 Chronograph, caliber 6139 movement and an Early 1950's? Omega Dress watch with a Caliber 283 movement.
Unfortunately I have no pictures of the movents.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
All the best
Steve
nice pictures, loverly watches.
:D
Very nice collection, there. Don't recall having seen an Omega with a red sweep hand before.
Great examples of watches with 'own brand' internals!
I love that IWC.
Pete
Thanks for the reply gents.
I think that the red hand on the Omega is original as it is as oxidised and aged as the blued hands.
Yes, the IWC is absolutely stunning and is definately my favorite watch (at the moment).
All the best

:D :D :D Nice trio of vintage watches.
That makes pefect sense. I now own my fathers Omega from the late fifties or early sixties (don't actually know). That is a gold cased model with gold H and M hands, but the sweep hand is black. This also has the look of oxidization.Originally Posted by Revolvingjones
Nice threesome, with a great looking Omega. Love the colorful hands.
Lovely watches! I'm particularly keen on the Seiko as i bought one a few months back to restore. I've worn it a few times and even in beaten-up form, it looks great on the wrist. Do you have any more pics of the Seiko at all? your's looks really good.
Lovely watches. You have good taste. Any chance of a wrist shot of the seiko?
Sweet ... a nice trio :?
That Seiko does look nice - my personal fave of the three.
That's the way to go. Great looking watches.
Cheers
Henrik
Loving that IWC!
they all have a certain old world charm that make them appealing
strangely i like the seiko best.
