I like the blue one. Sweet...... :D
At last, a count down bezel :D :D :D :D :D
Not only that, a 12 hour bezel at the same time too. Brilliant. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
I like the blue one. Sweet...... :D
The orange on orange definitely looks rather bright, but I think I'd go for one myself :D
Cool. I agre that orange on orange is a bit too much.
Maybe option of black or silver bezel (might look good on orange and blue)?
Have you been looking at Doxas? :)Originally Posted by Paulo

As to the colours, I reckon you'd sell 50 of each no problem. Orange with a black bezel might se a safer option though.
I like the sound of the coloured rubber straps. I have never been keen on bracelets with this case shape.
I love the sound of this one and a bracelet is a 'must have' for me.
Like the coloured dials but perhaps with a black bezel or black dial and coloured bezel?
Ed
That is a wonderful looking watch but as an automtic it will never be a true replacement for the PRS-3.
What is you cuerrent thinking on a quartz version Eddie?
That might happen later but there were an awful lot of people who wanted the automatic in a steel case instead of the PVD case of the PRS-11.Originally Posted by raysablade

I like the black/black and a bracelet sounds great.
Will it be 300m waterresistance?
I second the orange bezel/black dial (or vice-versa) comments.
Whatever colors you wind up with, it looks sharp... count me in for one!
That's what I wrote in the spec but that doesn't guarantee anything. :wink:Originally Posted by Seamus

Eddie,
whats you current best guess as to when these will be available

This is the 1st time I have been around for the launch of a precista product
alex
They could be available in April and there is no reserve list.

Still not quite right but getting there.

That's a twist. Using the polprof hands on the old CWC case. I like it. I like the black/orange combo also.
Looks very promising imho. Eddie, are there any plans for a dive bezel? I mean, it's got Plongeur hands so...?

blue, orange or blue are stunning.....
I am going to find the blue one hard to resist.
Black on black with those plongeur hands is really nice imho.
Not that it matters a jot what I think, but I prefered the first dial with MOD hands. Something jars for me in the combination of Plongeur hands with that dial.Originally Posted by swanbourne

For me too. The orange minute hand swamps the hour hand. I prefer the first option. But then, of course, they are the same hands as on the Dreadnought which work very well, so what do I know...?
I agree the hand, dial combination do not quite work, though also the lume area in particular at the 12 is too large and the design thereby comes across as somewhat imbalanced-or not as balanced as it could be. It's a fantastic design, simply needs getting there are Eddie says, imho.
Perhaps the lume area at 12 could be reduced a touch, and the ands reduced in side a little and it would balance up much better. It resembles some of the Omega's from the 70's (the banana) but looks better; modernized, more effective, though also very stylish.
AP.
It's not the hands, but the combination of those hands with that dial. The markers on the first dial were rather more discrete and elegant and might have worked with the much more inyerface plongeur hands but this combination is just too much.Originally Posted by Glamdring
I like those hands, the minute hand could be slightly narrower and with a blue surround IMO on the yellow and orange dials, blue lume would be nice too, and a PVD cased version would be perfect.
Is there going to be a version with MoD sword hands, Eddie?

Plongeurs are fine by me ( ). I actually like the orange/orange. I have a PVD case/orange dial PRS in the collection and it gets no wrist time. OTOH, the orange/orange combo is very 70s. I like dig it, man!
I much prefer the higher contrast of the second dial and hands set up.The hour markers on the original get lost in all the minute intervals. I would also like to see a standard divers bezel.
Hmmm... not sure about using those hands, was unique in the Dreadnought days and now seems everyone is going it. Will watch how this one develops though :)
I will look different anyway, the lume will be pale green C3 so the dial won't look so "white".

Any chance of having a round date window Eddie ? So the lume is going to be pale green 8)
I'd prefer a black-on-white datewheel. The white-on-black doesn't look right with the coloured dials.
Well I'm going to have to buy two. One black and one yellow. I must remember to show Mr X next weekend.
For the black on black with plongeur hands.. here's my SKX007 mod (tried to hide the day-date there for you)..
Actually I like it a lot. It's by far my favourite beater.
White-on-black date wheels only work on black-dialled watches IMO.
For all others, it has to be black-on-white.
If you've got some ideas, let's see some pictures. :D

Hi guys, just had a little play on paint, (im no expert on paint or watches), but wondered what you guys thought of this? Used the orange theme but not as over kill as the orange on orange, any sugestions and I will try and mock them up with my limited capabilities!
woooooah... that's just made it a different beast and I LIKE that!! Great idea giving the highlight to the last 15 minutes of the bezel and really highlights that it's a countdown.
Good work :)
I'm loving the orange with the black too but finding the orange section on the count down bezel a bit much.
How about something akin to 1-15 on Andrew's Tissot...
i.e orange ticks rather than the whole section in orange?
Sorry I don't have the skill to produce a pic (or the lingo to descrivbe it properly...)
Black on black or blue on blue; rather not have the orange minute hands as they are getting to be overdone and all white or all stainless do it more for me, and then tell mw when to have my money ready. I'll take any number if they are being assigned numbers. Then I can start saving for the PRS-30 next
Hi Guys,
I thought i would have another experiment, i have used the orange again as the image is the same size as the black so its easier to cut and paste between the two (plus I quite like it) My two favourites are the top and bottom on the left.
