Halcyon days! It sounds good to have experienced and how watch collecting should be. For me (and I assume most of us) the attraction of Rolex is primarily a solid reliable tool watch and yes we fall for the romanticism behind those tool’s intended users, but they’re fundamentally solid watches. Now with all the availability games and silly resale prices and focus on bling, it’s Tudor to me who’ve inherited that mantle.
