LINK TO PLAYLIST
I like music…I have a pretty eclectic taste and go to lots of gigs. I often randomly wander around Spotify and see where it takes me and now & again discover someone I haven’t listened to before. Or rediscover a forgotten favourite from times past.
Anyway,I digress.
What I would like you all to do is to create a playlist for me. All you have to do is post the name & artist of ONE song you think should be on the playlist. That’s just one….not several ‘cause you can’t decide….just one!
Also I don’t need a long explanation of why I should listen to it or where you first heard it or how it reminds you of a holiday in Benidorm when you were 18
Post just the song and let me come to my own conclusion upon listening to it.
Feel free to post from any artist or genre you prefer but please no jazz ,dance music or death metal.
Thanks in advance!

Brilliant idea for a thread, even better if the playlist could be made public!
My kids often ask me what my favourite song is and I can never give them an answer. The question always make me think of Nick Hornby’s book High Fidelity which effectively says that you can have a favourite song for a specific situation or scenario but it’s impossible to have an all time favourite.
This thread puts me in mind of this as well. As such my answer is;
Ghost in the Arcade by Idlewild
Mike Clerk - Do something new
L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. by Noah and the Whale
Head over to NTS radio on that Internet. Flo, Zakia, the Slip, Macca and way way more, discover loads of music which one should have been aware of but missed.
