I'm pretty sure that I read that payment via the mobile device is exempted as it's not an interactive communication function, which again makes sense.
Of course you can't scroll through your playlist on your phone, but can on your cars ICE screen, which doesn't make sense.

Annoys me that while mobile phone use (and soon even holding) is forbidden, I see loads of smokers and vapers clutching cigarettes/electric vape things while driving. No-one's ever explained how it's safe to get a cigarette out of a packet, light it and smoke it all while driving.
