Thank you he is surely missed i find myself wanting to call him and have a chat 36 years of my 48 years on this planet is a long time to know any one. The reality is we are here for a short time and does put a perspective on what really matters I will certainly pass on all the condolences here to his family I am sure they will be deeply touched.
Sad news, he was obviously well-regarded by those who knew him personally. Although I sometimes disagreed with him he always had something interesting to say, his passion for watches was clear to see.
Sad news indeed, RIP Peter.

That's absolutely tragic. I dealt with Paskinner a few times and he was always a gent. I am truly sorry for your loss and to lose such a fine forum member.

Just a small example of the guy that Peter was. He knew I liked my cars and bikes, so when a relative of his was visiting goodwood FoS and stopped over at his, he got straight on the phone and asked if i'd like to come and check out the car he was racing there. He then also gave me and my son free tickets to FoS, an event we'd never been to. Pete was someone I only met through the forum, and we didn't see each other much, but taking the time to let me come and climb all over this, and then the gesture of free tickets shows just the kind generous nature Peter had.
Very sad news... RIP Peter.
Cheers..

Very sad, sounds like a really nice guy RIP
I remember him telling me about this indeed he was very generous and kind he mentioned you went to see the car he said its nice to see others smile that was his nature. I remember when he ran the news room at the bbc and him having to go in at 3am when princess diana died he called me to tell me what had happened I said are you getting other in too help he said I would rather have them rest I can manage.
Very sad to hear that.
One of the well kent names and if memory serves had got himself a nice white gold Daytona recently which he was delighted with.
I enjoyed his little disagreements with Haywood too which were entertaining and better to be remembered than not at all.
RIP Paskinner
My sincere condolences to Peter's family and friends. He was clearly a very decent and kind gentleman.

Crikey- that's a shock. RIP Peter. My condolences to his family and friends.
Very sad to hear that news, he was one of those names that regularly popped up with good posts and got properly involved in the forum.
I see his last post mentioned about watches should be purchased to be enjoyed rather than for monetary purposes, he certainly had a point.
Thanks for all your contributions Peter..
I'm shocked and sad to see this news. Peter was a gent and my first watch purchase was with him, so will always remember his enthusiasm. RIP.
