2x Annonimo & 2x Precista
Because I might be mildly mental, I often pick up (or have had) watches from the same stable.
Am I alone in this or do others collect more than one of the same (or similar) piece ??
Breitling Aerospace (still on board)
CW Trident C60 (no longer on board)
GMT (gone)
Helson Sharkdiver (no longer on board)
Seiko Monster (now gone)
Seiko Monster (still here)
Blue Sumo (gone)
Orange Sumo (resident)
Orient Star Classics (all still here)
MM300 variants (both gone)
Submariner variants (still here)
Steinhart Ocean Ones (present)
Citizen Chronomaster (one here, one gone)
Seiko SDGM (present)
Kemmner 007's (one in, one out)
Grand Seiko (two out of three gone)
Seiko Alpinist, Auto and Quartz (one out, one in)
Orient Mako (2 in, 2 out)
Seiko SKX's (one remains)
GS SBGX Quartz variants (all barring one gone)
Seiko 5's (in)
I'm convinced I'm not as mad as a box of Frogs and that this is a shared state of mind ??
Jeeeeez !! How bored am I waiting to get back to work

2x Annonimo & 2x Precista
Really only got this set of twins right now.
I did have a full set of Orient Makos:
I sold the above, but have bought back the Yellow and Orange, so these two are in the current line up:
I have a set of three mid 90s Red Alpinists:
I also have a set of the mid 2000s SARB Alpinists:
Out of interest Greg, do you still have that Seiko Quartz GMT Alpinist or is that long gone. That is currently on my wants list 👍
I don’t think you are the only one OP
I collect certain manufacturers but tend not to duplicate types of watch (apart from CWC divers)
At the last count it’s...
3x Sinn
5x Marathon
3x Roamer
4x Precista
6x Seiko
2x Tudor
3x Omega
2x Hamilton
2x Fortis
6x CWC
2x MKII
2x Citizen
2x Waltham
And probably a few more that I have forgotten
I think it’s a standard collecting trait.

Had a black-dialled B&R 123 for a while to go with the white Geneva...
Not something I can afford to do personally - well, I could, but it would mean having very little variety.
The only person here I knew on here who keeps multiples is Scott (athough he might have sold alot of these recently).
How about quads?
I've got Rolex x 3, Sinn x 4 & Seiko x 4 as well, but they are all reasonably different to each other.

The same but different.
I have a number of watches from a few makes, but none of the same models in different colours that I can think of...

Some 3017s. There's another Poljot branded white dialled one somewhere.
First watch in space.
a pair of (admittedly very different) black bay chronos
Oh well, I am not alone.
(Actually, I am curing myself: two of the three have been sold during the past two months).
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
A trio of Seamasters........
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Not as bad as it used to be!
Not identical twins:

A quartet of divers, all sharing some DNA...
And a pair of Explorers...
A fivesome of Autavias
11630
11630 GMT
1163V
73463

2 pairs - not identical but close enough for jazz as the cliche goes
Cheers
