Disclaimer: I have never owned a Speedmaster.
I reckon the Sinn 556i runs it close. Mine looked great on everything I tried it on whether bracelet, leather or a variety of nato/zulu/ish
Seriously, out of all the watches I’ve owned I don’t think I’ve had a watch that can look as nice on most straps in my view...
One of Steve’s Battleship Grey Leather Straps.
Omega Bond NATO.
Omega Bracelet.

Had mine on a PAV rallye strap. I refer my speedy on brown straps.
Bought that from Pav on here. Good quality, have had a few off him.
Agreed, they’re the biggest strap whores that I’ve owned, looked good on pretty much anything I put it on but I think my favourite was also Pavs Rallye strap. Maybe I need one again!
This bracelet is from a Rolex Explorer (39mm).
Interesting.

Yes, in fact IMO more so, any strap based PAM, especially if it has their pin system that makes strap changes really easy
Oh yeah ? I'd like to see a Speedmaster on one of these...
This was my least successful Speedmaster strap combination - a brown Eulit Air Look.
The Speedy is a strap monster. Almost anything looks good on it but, there are also watch straps out there that are a waste of good leather.
There are other watches out there that will carry off almost any strap just as good as the speedy but the speedy is probably the most known/accessible.
Definitely the speedy is the most versatile watch I've ever seen.
I've worn mine on it's oem bracelet; tan ostrich; white/grey/black/brown leathers; croc; shark mesh; green/striped/grey natos and even rubber and it's always looked at home.
I think it's only Achilles heel would be on a fully polished bracelet, but I'd say that about any watch.

That's not the Speedy's fault... :)
Not particularly a Speedy fan but Pav's Rallye strap looks fantastic.
I’m a bracelet guy ultimately but I do find with my small wrists the Speedy sits better on a strap size wise. I’ve been looking at strap options recently and came across this which I think looks nice. Anyone ever tried it?

Alternatively I may go for a Hirsch Heritage in grey.

Maybe repeated strap changes on the same watch is an indication that you don't really like it that much.
Are there any curved end leather straps out there for the speedy. I am struggling to find any. Can't even seem to find the hirsch leonado anymore.

The Speedy certainly is a versatile watch when it comes to straps but I didn’t seem to get in with mine so I changed it for in my eyes an equally versatile strap whore in my Panerai 562.

I think they are by far their best with the original steel strap.
It is personal I guess but if I owned one it would be on steel always.
Feels big on the bracelet though

I have three straps for my SMPc - original bracelet, nato and just recently, a blue rubber strap. All OE Omega straps.
I have the bracelet and leather strap for my ‘57 and have recently been looking for a nato for it. Tried several on but I don’t think one will work on the ‘57 as with the crystal caseback, the double strap seems to make it sit too high on my wrist. I’d be interested to see any pictures of a '57 broad arrow with a nato fitted.
The Bulang strap arrived. I think it’s perfect!

My 243 PAM suits a huge variety. NATO, rubber, leather canvas and the PAM Velcro fastening strap.
That is a joy of every PAM IMHO.
