Very nice!
To mark the 50th anniversary of OHMSS, a limited edition (257 examples) set containing Two Seamasters - one steel, one 18kt yellow gold - in a Globetrotter case.

Very nice!
Hideous watch design - I guess never meant to be actually worn. . I am sure the sets will be snapped up at over £33K and stuffed in the vault somewhere.

actually felt a little sick after looking at these images - so those with a delicate disposition may not want to clink in the link above. (IMHO)
If you are (un)lucky enough not to get one of these sets you could get one of the limited edition steel ones - only 7007 of those - you need to be fast to get one of those.

Are grown men actually willing to buy such stuff because of a fictional character?
Snoopy - STFU Ken 😂
I like the watch and I love a good movie tie-in (yes, even as a grown man. Shocking eh?).
What I'm struggling with is the concept of Omega making a tribute to a Bond movie where he wore a Rolex. Anyone?
Seems more of a cash-grab than usual from Omega, especially with the 25 year anniversary of Goldeneye looming, the first movie where Bond ACTUALLY wore an Omega if memory serves. I have no doubt they've got something lined up for that one too, but a gold Seamaster would surely have fit better with Goldeneye.
Anyway I like the set but it feels like a stretch for Omega to start commemorating anniversaries they were nothing to do with. Maybe Rolex should do a 50 year Moon Landing edition.
I’d buy it for the Globetrotter case alone
Cheers,
Ben

I love the box more than anything and appreciate what Omega are trying to do of late but still think they are trying way too hard!
I must admit I did own this one once:
Good god a limited edition on a limited edition bond joby. Some watch manufacturers are turning into the royal mint where they make limited editions that just devalue the brand IMHO.
Please can they make specials that go above and beyond and not gimmicks.

If you must play with Bond toys as an adult, you'd be better off sticking with Lego and saving a few bob:

At least it doesn't have '007' emblazoned on the front. The barrel rifling on the dial is no more offensive than the current wave design Omega is using. Other than that, there's only the diagonal stripes on the 12 markers, which I bet aren't very distinctive when being worn. I don't like the direction in which Omega have take the Seamaster in recent years, but this variation is no worse, and indeed somewhat better, than a lot of other iterations.
I know each to their own and all that but Bond watches always feel like a wealthier and older (but not more grown up) version of a Captain America lunchbox.
I really dislike the Bond Limited Editions which I think merely cheapen the brand.
These, though, are beyond the pale with the LE plates on the side and the fictional coat of arms on the dial.
I’m normally a real Omega fan but dislike these with a passion!
It's also kind of funny how Ian Fleming makes a point in that very book of explaining how Bond wears a Rolex because its robust and dependable rather than him being some kind of snob or enthusiast, yet today I think "snob" or "exclusive tastes" are among the first things that come to mind to someone who's trying to describe the character.
It’s time, in the parlance de nos jours, that Omega was “cancelled”.
Speedmaster moonwatch? And you think men actually walked on the moon?;-)Are grown men actually willing to buy such stuff because of a fictional character?
Very strange angle they are coming from. Not sure on the watches either.
