She received one of the highest ever grades for her Oxford degree, from her tutor, JRR Tolkien.
Passed away today and much missed.

I stumbled across one of her programmes a while back, as I suspect others did too, thinking it would last about 15 secs before I switched over. The programme ended far too early it turned out.
A sad day but I suspect she went in peace and very much at one with her creator.
