Hello and welcome to the forum, pics of your collection is a must.
Hi all,
My name is Alistair, and I have been a lurker on this forum for many years. Now that I have recently retired, I feel I now have the time to join and participate in the forum.
I have been interested in watches, on and off, since my teenage years. My collection, as it stands at the moment, consists of:
• 5 “Eddies” (PRS’s 3 GMT, 9, 36,40 & 82)
• 4 Omega (2 Speedmasters + 2 Seamasters)
• 3 Oris (Chronometer, Radius, & ’63 Diver)
• 2 Tudor (BB & Royal)
• 2 Longines (Flagship chrono & Conquest chrono)
• 1 Dan Henry (1970)
• 1 Maurice Lacroix (Masterpiece Cinq Aiguilles)
• 1 Geckota
• 1 Seagull 1963
• 3 elderly and knackered Seikos (Weekdater, 7T32 &7S26-02J0)
I think that’s it…
I have never sold a watch and have only ever bought via AD/retail, and I don’t expect that’ll change.
Once I have mastered the up-loading of pictures I will post a SOTC. In the meantime tradition would seem to dictate that, as a “newbie”, I have to think-up a post certain to annoy some folks (what watch to wear with a kilt? – no… too easy....a black watch!).

Welcome and if you put a post up asking how to access sales corner that will do the trick.☺
Welcome...look forward to seeing some pics. Not the most glamorous of your collection I expect but I quite fancy a Geckota
welcome...nice collection
'Can I wear any of my divers while having a shower' should do it.........
Good to see you have decided to come out Alistair, and a great bunch of watches you have acquired, particularly the PR's
so my offering to you is...
"Any idea on a good source of watch straps ? "
All the best and HAGWE..

Welcome Alistair....interesting mixed collection you have there ..... look forward to your additions, enjoy the forum.
Welcome.
Welcome. You seem to have got the measure of this forum already - and arrived with a fully formed collection!
Tapatalk app seems the easiest route to uploading pics.
Thank you.
The Geckota is my most recent purchase, and I'm fairly pleased with the quality. The model I got is the C-02 Calibre 64 (which I see, BTW, is now on "sale" £100 less than I paid! Grrr. Hey Ho that's life) I'm not sure about the VK64 movement. At first I struggled slightly with the 24 hour sub dial and no sweep seconds, but I seem to be getting used to it now.

I like the variety in there Alistair - plenty previous posts on how to post pics. Tapatalk app on phone def the easiest
Well done for raising your head above the parapet. Yours looks like an extensive and rounded collection so you'd better get busy with the photos .
I think you’ll fit in here…
Try imgur…. Even I can manage it!
[img][/img] - use this and stick a link in the middle - voila!
Thank you all for your warm welcome and sage advice re posting photo's.
I have now downloaded Tapatalk and uploaded some photos to Postimage (for some reason my PC doesn't like Imgur). So I'll have a wee practice and then, hopefully, in a couple of days "show & tell"

Welcome Alistair, nice collection. As you’ve been a lurker, you could try asking a question like:-
“which Rolex should I add to my collection and which will make me the most money”
Pictures would go down well.

Welcome to the forum.
For a popular thread you might try "Rolex warranty cards advice please".

Welcome, have you considered asking about insurance?
Tapatalk is how I load photos, so hopefully it’ll be show and tell in no time
