wow, and I sure like that picture better than the one with the prs-5 strapped to the walrus wrist yesterday.
Looking good Eddie :)
If the exchange rate against the Euro was the same as it was 6 months ago, I could have kept it just under £200 but with the rate as it is now, it will be £210. This is still £35 cheaper than the Broadarrow PRS-5 with the Poljot movement was 4 years ago and I'll be shipping in one of those Banda 2-watch travelling cases.Originally Posted by setherd

Can I have that one, now, please??

I'll 'ave one of those; got to love that exchange rate :)
Looks very good - like it a lot & at that price I'm sure I'll snap one up, if it's around 40mm or bigger.
/vince ..
I'll have one, no question, although that strap's not for me. Never been a fan of that type. The watch itself though gets a big thumbs-up from me.
Just marvelous!
'fraid to ask about the size though.
Cheers and a nice evening everybody

Very nice indeed. The 5 was always my favourite from the PRS Virtual Museum and I'm chuffed that I will soon have the chance to own one. Are there specs for this anywhere yet?
More gen here.
There's a waiting list to purchase this watch and it's full?
Nice looking watch Eddie.
Well done.
Regards,
If that is a 20mm strap, I believe the case diameter will be in the 39-40mm range. A bit on on the small side for my currently overweight wrists.
If I follow the doctors advice and lose 20 pounds to gain another 5 years of life, it will fit perfectly.
I knew I made the righr=t decision wen I said early-on that I wanted in.
Guess I'd better get cracking and photograph the other two-eye chronos in the safe so this one will fit in.
Eddie, thanks again for another success!
I think the Broadarrow PRS-5 was 41mm including the crown and that had 19mm lugs. So I'm guessing the new ones will be at least that diameter.
Excellent looking watch! The lume dots and "12" and "6" look more yellow than white...nice contrast.
If I recall correctly, this will be a regular production model, so there's no waiting list. :)Originally Posted by Fry
And I had intended to keep my collection down to a couple of watches, I guess one more won't hurt :D
I was not planing to jump on that one, but it looks so good I am pretty sure I will be buying it once it is out...
It's not possible to give a diameter because of the asymmetric case but two measurements are:
37mm measured from 12 to 6 o'clock
41mm across to the tip of the crown

 OK, thanks, I have just jumped on it, Eddie, and I am now I 300+ euros poorer. And I INSIST: I didn´t want to buy this one. But I could not help.....

Mines Ordered!
Cheers Eddie.
Dave
being a dedicated follower of fashion, I had to order one too :)
Just ordered mine :D
Thank you Eddie

I threw a 53 in with mine. Seems rude to only order one watch at a time. :DOriginally Posted by Glamdring
Order done!
Order done, didn't want to be left out :D
I had one of the old ones but flipped it. Trying to decide whether my tastes have changed sufficiently to warrant grabbing a new one!

Looks great! :D
Nice watch! I have been thinking to get my first Precista 18A but now I might just go for this one first!
Eddie, I have never own a handwind before , how often do I have to handwind it?
Ordered :D
The movement used is the Seagull ST-19. Here is the first link I found for seagull st-19 power reserve:Originally Posted by satosatomi

There are two very informative posts from a guy called cnmark on this page: one with pictures of the movement and another (further down the page) with detailed specs. Apparently the official factory power reserve is 36-40 hours but he has observed reserves of up to 50 hours in some cases.
I'll still be winding mine every morning though.

I once timed my PRS5 to find out what the power reserve of a full wind on the Poljot movement would be.I was surprised to find it was well over 67 hours. Others reported more.Originally Posted by Dilla

I have just ordered one, my first Time Factors watch, I think it looks stunning, cant wait to lose my virginity. :D
It took me two tries to get the ordering right, but now it's coming!! :D :D
Talk about bad timing. I just got a couple of unexpected bills that I had to put on the credit card and, due to a large crack, I have to get the windshield on my car replaced soon. This will be mine once I pay off ~$800 in unexpected bils.
I know what you mean ... for us it is car and dental repair bills to the tune of € 1,800 = US$ 2,500. And now the SB 3 has been announced for this week ... :cry:Originally Posted by Grath
