Use Imgur by all means (I do and it's great), but click on 'Get share links' in the top right hand corner of the image, then click on 'Copy' the 'BBCode' then paste it into your post.

Seeing your on the mobile app, if you hit the up arrow on the left in quick reply you will get a big grey square with + on it.
If you hit that then you can upload directly from your phone without any hosting sites.

If you want to upload photos straight from your phone, then the Tapatalk app works very well as opposed to the TZ-UK app, which used to work fine but now seems to upload poor res photos. If you touch the reply arrow, then the 'mountain' icon, you can select and add a photo. :-)

Agreed. Tapatalk for mobile use. After photobucket went nuclear on pricing I tried a few apps but at that time (and on iPhone) they either made it hard or impossible to creat a link that’s useable on mobile or they had a poor overview of pictures which took me ages to find the right one.

I've not been able to get clear images using the TZ app or Tapatalk for a few months now, they both come out blurred hence the reason i rarely post pictures these days.

As someone who always found it quite a faff to post pictures, I have found Tapatalk quite intuitive to use.

    Just stick with it!

Can I ask are you attaching the pictures with the paperclip icon or inserting them with the ‘mountains’ icon? It’s the mountains icon that works as it stores a hi-res copy of your image on the Tapatalk server. It only works in the Tapatalk app, not the TZ-UK version.

I don't seem to get the mountain icon anymore, or the choice of sizing, only a green tick box if that makes sense?

I will select an image from my gallery and try it now.

That looks perfect, and is inserted as the image is hosted on Tapatalk (‘uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180518/380053ddb17a5001c4ee09d730821897.jpg’) and is topped and tailed with the ‘IMG’ bbcode.

I guess you are using an Android phone. I think the Tapatalk app works slightly differently from the iPhone version, but whatever you did, it works fine! As did the picture of the dog.

Yes I'm on a Samsung A3, and you are correct about it working different to my old iPhone, but when I look at the image I just posted it looks blurred?

Both images look absolutely fine. Tapatalk seems to be the easiest option from a smartphone.

Imgur has got way too bloaty and difficult to find a proper link to the image to paste these days. Try https://postimages.org/ it's more simpler.

Yes, photobucket have broken the internet now. Whenever you search for anything obscure via google and it links to a forum post on the exact topic you're searching for, but the images are no longer there due to photobucket it's such an irritation. They've undermined a good chunk of obscure yet essential information from our history as internet users.
