Am a big Omega fan, but those are a bit ....Swatch watch like, sorry but not good.
These appear to be a new release for SIHH, on Fratello but not on the Omega site yet: https://www.fratellowatches.com/omeg...es-collection/
Relatively tasteful for a sports themed collection. Stopwatch inspired and a large but not entirely insane 39.5mm. I'm subtracting points for the crown.

I like the look of these. The olympic branding is subtle. Thanks for showing.
I'm surprised the IOC have allowed the use of the Olympic rings on the dial; they are very tight on that ...
Omega is the official time keeper I guess so that is what they get.
Any other examples of watches with the Olympic Rings on the dial?
I don’t get these, or the previous round of Olympic special’s they did, Joe Public isn’t going to be a hardcore-enough Olympics fan to want one (especially at Omega price point) so all they’re good for is giving away to the athletes, which if they then decide to sell on might make them worth a premium somehow, otherwise am I missing the point?
Err Omega have been making Olympic themed watches with rings slapped everywhere since at leasts the mid 1950s, perhaps earlier. Not exactly a new thing. There have been literally dozens, hundreds even of Olympic limited Editions over the years, some OK and some awful. Try a google image search on 'Omega Olympics' for a few

I rather like these new ones, they have something of the Dynamic about them which to me is a good thing. If they aren't silly money I may be tempted, but of course they will be,

I quite like some of the Olympic watches.
I'm not sure about these. I'll need to see one in person, as a number of brands renders look nothing like the real thing.
No doubt very expensive for what looks v similar to a modern Dynamic type look though.
It's just a matter of time...
Disappointing - they look rather bland to me.
That is true, but look closely at the second hands, they often use a god awful 5 rings counterweight. Here is Omega's own Olympic site section with the current offerings which aren't as terrible as some from days gone by:

I actually really like them. To me 70s inspired and look cool.
Whilst were on the subject, this is one of the most disgusting looking watches I have ever seen, it has nothing going for it, what were they thinking!!!?

I absolutely love em....!
I’m confused about 2 things here?
1. This isn’t an Olympic year (unless these are for the Winter Olympics).
2. Isn’t the speedmaster range more appropriate for a sports themed watch?
You can read more about the Seamaster Olympic Games Collection in a Hodinkee article: link. Omega are producing 2032 watches in each of the Olympic colours. They are powered with their c8800 with date:
Blue Yellow Black Red Green
Then there are 100 Seamaster Olympic Games Limited Edition Sets; 5 watches (no date, auto c8806), again in the Olympic colours, powered by a c8806 with references from 522.32.40.20.04.001 (blue) to 522.32.40.20.04.005 (green).
Finally there are three LE (of 188) gold chronographs (manual wind c3203):
Pink gold on leather strap Yellow gold on leather strap White gold on leather strap
They all look like they have dates to me?
Ah, now I see the non-date versions!

It's just a matter of time...
They look quite nice at 39½ mm, having a white dial with just a touch of colour and no date. But being a LE set of five watches will put any of them out of my reach...
No lume is going to be an issue for some of us...
Edit €27500 for the set of five...including the box and bell (apparently).

This is nice though...

I was quite interested when I read the blurb that says, 'There is also a blue pulse reader on each dial that enables 20-second timing intervals of the wearer’s pulse.' That sounds like some interesting technology! I was wondering how it might work and where the blue pulse display might be, until it turned out to mean the small gap in the blue circle on the dial at 0, 20, and 40! I guess Apple don't have too much to worry about there...
Yes, that is nice. It's one of their "Pyeongchang 2018" Collection, part of a continuing series of Olympic Games watches. It has its own thread on here: link.
Omega seem to have got in early with the watches in the OP. There's the Seamaster Olympic Games Limited Edition Collection (link):
The models are available in the five colours of the famous Rings of the Olympic Games. Only 2,032 versions of each model have been created, representing the year 2032, which will be OMEGA’s 100th year as Official Timekeeper.
...and the Olympic Games Limited Edition Set (same link...just down the page):
Continuing the celebration of OMEGA’s Olympic Games role, a special Limited Edition set has been created which includes five models created in the colours of the Olympic Rings. All watches come in a special presentation box alongside a miniature last-lap bell, which has been crafted in the same Swiss foundry as the real Olympic bells.

60m water resistance apparently. That is a bit mean...
I like the handset on these a lot.
Which of the two main types do you like? The one in the OP:
...or this one (that I prefer):

Sadly not for me but the one above is the best of the lot IMHO

Hello Omega, WHERE DOES THIS NONSENSE STOP PLEASE!?
Cant beat a little thread resurrection!
I tried this style on today and size wise it was absolutely perfect on my manly* ( I lie, its < 7 in) wrist.
Thickness (or apparent lack of) was great.
Lovely case back showing all the Olympic cities too but I'm buggered if I could read them without a loupe :(
Would make a great summer watch if the price is right.

It looks ok, but why on earth they put Stainless Steel on lug?
One could argue that the Olympic games Omega's are a collectible in of themselves, as long as you can get them cheap enough (I should hope so, been as nobody wants them). There's loads to choose from and some special ones out there.
You never know in 50 years time, they might be worth a bit.
Shame 95% of them are hideous though, or crazy overpriced. I'm not sure I'd wear any of them to be honest.
Thew Olympic Speedies are only available in Japan
Which is a shame, because the white dial panda one is really rather lovely.
