    The second. By far. I actually like a lot about these. The case is nice as is the crown. The dial is goofy and I don't like the Olympic tie-in, but this has the bones of a good watch.

    It does look immensely better without the date window actually!

    Cant beat a little thread resurrection!

    I tried this style on today and size wise it was absolutely perfect on my manly* ( I lie, its < 7 in) wrist.
    Thickness (or apparent lack of) was great.



    Lovely case back showing all the Olympic cities too but I'm buggered if I could read them without a loupe :(

    Would make a great summer watch if the price is right.
