I think that looks really great. Suitable and different all at the same time. :)
I wanted a tweed strap but was confounded by not having an appropriate watch to put it on. Kinda bummed about that.
Unexpected excitement at JG Towers this morning, when a parcel of tweed straps arrived from Chile. Here is the gray tweed with yellow stitching on my 1964 Carrera Re-Edition.
The yellow was a bit of last-minute boldness, certainly gives the watch something different.
Keen to hear your views :)

Wow love this watch and the Omega Seamaster chronograph from the seventies with a silver/white dial...2 of my dream watches.
Enjoy it it’s a beauty.
That looks superb, only wish I had something that would work on one of these straps.
All mine are tool and military inspired, the only thing I thought may go is the Seagull 1963 but the lugs are a bit long.
Great choice!
It makes a pleasant change from all the old distressed leather watchbands.
How pliable is it?
Love a bit of Tweed - got a couple on my Schofield watches!
Cheers
Matt
Looks fantastic IMO, respect your bravery with the stitch colour, really brings it to life.
They look great. Trying to think which of my watches would suit one of these too.

I agree that it would be tough to get it right and make a non-OEM strap work on a Royal Oak. I also never imagined that there was the slightest possibility that these would work on an out-and-out sports watch but now I'm not so sure.
Finished with a blue (or a pink) thread it might add something to a GMT. Oder?
That looks blooming marvellous to me CB.
An inky/navy tweed with raspberry stitch would be good on A gmt.
Do they itch when your wrist gets a bit hot?
